As promised, Nintendo has released the Splatoon 2 singleplayer trailer, giving us a first look at the singleplayer campaign of the game. The trailer shows a brief intro the the story of the game, and shows some gameplay as well. Rest assured, the gameplay looks very much like the Splatoon we’re used to in multiplayer.

Splatoon 2 launches on July 21, exclusively on the Switch. If you have Amiibo figures from Splatoon 1, they will work in Splatoon 2 as well (although Splatoon 2 will get a bunch of new Amiibo as well).

You can also pre-order the official Splatoon 2 guide for just 11 bucks right now.
